The project for this tech staffing company creates a work environment that is both energizing and conducive to relaxation. The specifics of the company’s operation requires two contrasting functions: a quiet front area oriented to applicants’ visits and a main work floor reminiscent of a trading floor – with high-energy, noise and action. The third major area is for operations support and employee’s special use (“stress relief”).

For a building of this type that frequently uses rooftop mechanical units, posing a challenge to screen – the architect found a creative solution: The mechanical units on both sides of the two-story office space act as two “lungs” feeding the center. They are integrated in the second floor space with a distinct façade expression. It takes its theme from the main rhythm of glazed squares and precast panels. It is bold and different, embracing both sides of the glass wall that curves towards the main street.
